Stan Smith joined Waypoint in the fall of 2015 and represents Bogs Footwear, Helly Hansen Workwear, Smartwool and Vasque in Eastern Montana and Idaho. The collection of lines complements Stan’s long history in the Outdoor Industry.

After earning an English Degree at UC Santa Barbara, he worked retail at The Great Pacific Iron Works; became a dealer service rep for Patagonia and Chouinard Equipment; then managed sales operations for Black Diamond Equipment. He went on to the life of a sales rep for Merrell and Marmot, then Teva, Simple, Superfeet and others.

In his spare time, Stan tries his best to wear out his many boats, bikes, fly rods and skis.
