Ashley is a PNW native and Washington State University graduate who studied Apparel Merchandising, proving that sometimes your career path actually does follow your college major.

With more than 15 years in the industry spanning across Product, Planning, and now Key Account Sales Operations, she’s built a career around inventory strategy, data-driven decision making, assortment planning, and operational excellence. Having spent much of her career at REI, she’s accumulated a healthy amount of institutional knowledge and a front-row seat to more process changes, re-organizations, and acronyms than she can count. From managing inventory to uncovering insights and leading category strategies, she enjoys solving complex problems and finding opportunities hidden in the data. After years in planning, she can spot an inventory risk faster than she can decide what to make for dinner.

Between kids’ sports, planning the family’s next adventure (hopefully to the sun), catching a live show or sports game, and chasing the next best meal, Ashley’s logistical planning and operations skills get just as much use outside of work as they do in the office.
