Brian joined the Waypoint Outdoor team in May 2015. Washington State born and bred, he grew up taking full advantage of the outdoor recreational opportunities the NW provides. Growing up nordic ski racing kept him fit and gave him the means to travel extensively through North America and Europe – something he still values today as a sales rep. With a BS in Geology from Northern Michigan University – Brian quickly found himself immersed in outdoor specialty retail doing everything from working the floor, packing UPS boxes to eventually buying.
Brian came to Waypoint after 14 years as an Independent Sales rep working for many iconic companies like Cascade Designs, Salomon and Timberland. He currently supports Waypoint Outdoor out of his home base in Anchorage, Alaska. When not spending time with his three young children and lovely wife, he enjoys any form of skiing, mountain biking, running whitewater or basically anything that keeps him outside exploring Alaska’s vast wilderness. Hobbies include music (mostly Dylan), running his chain saw, and sharing an IPA with friends.
